We charge $5 per jar/lid. If you provide a new or clean 1/2 gallon Ball mason jar with reusable plastic lid(we only use Ball mason jars), there is no charge for the jar. If you return the jars you received from us, please make sure they are clean. If you only bring back the jar but not the lid we provide, we have to charge $1, for each lid not returned.
About 14 days... but the “Use By” date on our milk jars is 10 days from when our cow was milked & 7 days from when our goat was milked. We chill our milk in an ice bath within minutes of being milked in order to get its temperature down as quickly as possible. Our milk is then put into our refrigerator, which maintains a temperature of 35 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure your milk keeps until the “Use By” date on the jar, please store your milk at 40 degrees or less. After picking up your milk from us, get the milk into your refrigerator as soon as possible.
Our eggs are unwashed so they still have the natural waxy coating on them. Kept unrefrigerated, unwashed eggs should last 2 weeks. If you properly refrigerate unwashed eggs they can last for several months. If you’re not sure if an egg is good to eat, just put the egg in a bowl of water, if it floats…it is bad.
See description on product pages.
In order to be licensed by the state of Idaho, cows need to be vaccinated against brucellosis. We minimally vaccinate but do not use spike protein vaccines. For more information on vaccines used, please message us through our "Contact Us" page.
